Christmas List 2012

Barnes and Noble Gift Card - preferably one that is at least $50. I love books so I'd love to buy a few new ones to add to my collection! 

Camera - Canon is my preferred camera brand. I want a camera so I can take my blog to the next level, since I want to put this more towards fashion & beauty instead of random tidbits like this post.

Domain Name - I have came up with the perfect name for my blog, I just need to buy the domain name. Again, this goes along with wanting to take my blog to the next level.

"In my Humble Opinion" and "I Can't Sleep" Journals - Journals to collect my thoughts. I like how they are not just typical journals, but have writing prompts. Writing prompts help me establish my thoughts.

Tarte Treat Yourself to Gorgeous set, $50

Tarte has came out with a gorgeous limited edition palette for the holidays. The set comes with 20 eyeshadows, 4 full-size lipglosses and 4 full-size eyeliners. I'd love to get this!

The great part is, it's only $50 for the whole set, which I think is a great deal. So let me know, are you excited for this new set from Tarte?

Urban Decay sold to L'oreal

Just recently it has been released that Urban Decay has been sold to L'oreal. I know many loyal customers of Urban Decay are outraged because UD doesn't test on animals, but L'oreal does. Going onto Urban Decay's facebook, you can see many customers are posting their opinions on their wall. And they are not happy. 

So what do you think? Do you think Urban Decay will survive this fiasco, or do you think UD sales will plummet in the cosmetics world? Leave a comment telling me what you think!

Sweet Tranquility

Canon - PowerShot A4000 - $99

This is the camera that I want to receive for Christmas. I originally wanted a DSLR but those are extremely expensive so I'd rather buy one that'll still get the job done, but without the hefty price tag. What do you think? 

I most likely will be moving my blog to wordpress. I'm thinking of the name sweettranquility.org, do you like it? Do you have any other name ideas? I'd love to know. My choice for switching over to wordpress is because I want more freedom to customize my blog, plus I'd rather own my content, instead of google. Do you think I should switch?

I'm so excited! Once I buy the domain & hosting, I'll be spending about a month creating and accumulating posts. My plan is to post at least 3 times a week consistently, relating to outfits posts, photos of the week, and then random/life update posts. Do you like the idea? Let me know! <3

Hey everyone! It has been a while hasn't it? I'm going to lie, I've neglected my blog. School got in the way, so I ended up forgetting about my blog. I've decided though that I'll be coming back brand new in 2013.

I'm going to buy a new camera for Christmas, so I can start over my blog from the start. I'm also going to buy a domain name so I can make it more professional. What should the name of my new blog be?
